Another one finished on Manilla paper. I decided to go with blues for this ones outline. I dig it.
While I was working on this I was listening to Tom Waits new album Bad As Me. Great album. He has a song on there called “Talking At The Same Time” . In that track he has a line that goes “hard times for some, for others it’s sweet” it’s such a simple line but so poignant. In one line he sums up what life is like these days. It struck me. He said everything he needed to make me think about all the shit we are force feed through the media. Left, right, center, republican , democrat, liberal, conservative. All that shit he said with out actually saying any of it. What a great song writer. I think I’m gonna dig a little into his catalog.
