Music Is Life

My buddy and I just finished up this mural titled “Music s Life” . The whole process was great. We worked with the non-profit Urban Artworks and Ryan Curren. From start to finish to was a great process. Everyone pulled together to make this happen. We had a training session with the youth artists at Pratt the thursday before we started the mural. That was alot of fun . Honestly, It is sometimes hard to traslate techniques that I’ve built over years into words . I hope that the kids got a little something out of it. When we got to the wall on Saturday it was nice to see all the kids excited to work and ready to go. The whole process was awesome! i just want to thank Kathleen Warren from Urban Artworks, Ryan Curren who wrote the grant, Myra Kaha with Pratt for providing a space to do the youth workshop, and Chef Cafe for providing a wall for the mural. Chef Cafe was very hospitable the whole time , even providing food on a couple occassions. Thank you. If you want good Ethiopian food just check out these reviews for Chef Cafe . And last but not least here is some photos of the mural.
